Exhibition space
LUMC Gallery. The LUMC Gallery, on the ground floor of the main building of the Leiden University Medical Centre, is utilized to bring the collection to the attention of patients and visitors. The Gallery organises four exibitions a year, which are usually related to a particular theme prevalent within contemporary art, and simultaneously share common ground with aspects experienced by the patients, staff, and visitors of the LUMC.

External exhibitions
Since 1986, five times a year an exhibition is shown in the LUMC gallery. These exhibitions are intended to demonstrate the broad nature of the LUMC collection, and additionally present an overview of the oeuvres of the various individual artists included in the LUMC collection.
