The ING Collection comprises nearly 20,000 works. Its original nucleus consists of works from the nineteen thirties belonging to Magic Realism, with the painters Carel Willink, Pyke Koch, Raoul Hynckes, Wim Schumacher and Dick Ket as important exponents.
The monumental paintings ‘Girl in Renaissance costume’ (1945) by Willink and ‘The Harvest’ (1953) by Koch are part of the core of the ING collection, as are works by contemporary artists Matthijs Röling, Barend Blankert, Michael Ryan, Frans Clement, Douwe Elias, Peter Hartwig, Frank Lisser, Pieter Pander, Dick Pieters, Jan van Tongeren and Kees Verwey.
