At present, the Eneco art collection comprises approximately 160 works of art. In addition to painters such as
Michael Raedecker, Koen Vermeule, Gijs Frieling, Emo Verkerk, Gé-Karel van der Sterren, Ronald Ophuis and
Sven Kroner, photographers such as Koos Breukel and Desiree Dolron, sculptures by Tom Claassen and Hans
van Bentem, less well-known artists are also represented in the art collection. The works of art have been
purchased during the past ten years and exhibited in public areas including the reception areas and
conference rooms.
Form, colour, materials and concept play a role with regard to the atmosphere in which the works of art are
exhibited in relation to each other.
Along the opposites of confrontation and harmony, challenging and pleasing, works of arts that seek to
express something about everything or that are masters in the art of elimination, a context arises that
stimulates curiosity, that generates acknowledgment for collecting and gives an idea of what is going on in art
in the present day.
