The ABN AMRO Collection now consists of 10,000 art works, 6,000 of which make up the core collection. These works have been selected as the basis for the exhibition policy.
In principle, the core collection is presented in public areas of the different office buildings (reception areas, hallways and meeting rooms). Senior management may select works from the collection for their own offices.
Exhibitions of works from the collection in public areas are often centred around a particular theme, dedicated to one artist, or put together to reflect a specific art historical perspective.
